Kim Stone, Proposal Consultant

Your partner in pursuit of the win.

For over 25 years, Kim has led proposals totaling $20 billion for federal, state, and local agencies primarily in defense, space, transportation, and infrastructure. She has extensive experience developing proposal responses to the Department of Defense (DOD), National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Department of Energy (DOE), Department of Transportation (DOT), and many others.

Her leadership style balances process discipline with responsiveness to meet solicitation, regulatory, and contractual compliance. She’s a big proponent of rolling reviews in addition to formal color teams and executive reviews to align the effort to the unique needs of every team. She has worked with Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, Kiewit, and many more.

Key wins include NASA’s Mars Sample Retrieval Lander; Artemis Human Landing System - Ascent Element; Lunar Terrain Vehicle Services; and CLPS Payloads & Research Investigations on the Surface of the Moon. Key defense wins include: US Navy’s Tomahawk LAM BLK V, USAF’s StormBreaker Smart Weapon, and DARPA’s Tactical Boost Glide Hypersonic Weapons System.
